TRAVELING CANES
We are in the process of developing a traveling walking cane. This traveling cane will perform the same functions as our ridged cane with the added feature of being collapsible. A collapsible walking cane will fold into connected pieces to bring in the car, on a plane, or be stowed in a backpack. The user can then unfold and snap together the traveling cane for use with any Hearsee-enabled buildings they come across while on the go.
Our traveling cane has been designed with valuable insight from the blind and low-vision community to be as useful and comfortable as possible. It will not only interpret the HearseeRFID tags of any building around the world, it will serve as a dependable walking cane in other circumstances.
We have schematics for our traveling cane and are in the early stages of developing a prototype. Creating a new product can be a long and expensive process. Your support will allow for faster development with strenuous testing by members of the blind community to ensure its safety and efficacy before mass manufacturing.
Annual Month of Giving
When we think of where the best place to put the product, the answer is everywhere. Imagine going to the Natural History Museum and not having the ability to spend the time you want to learn about something because you are on their schedule. Let’s help make this a standard in the WORLD!
